Work Experience

Full-Stack Developer

Front-end designing and implementing, back-end engineering, database managing, app scaling and optimizing.

Artificial Intelligence Researcher

Data collecting, exploring, processing and analyzing. Model planning, implementing and parameter tuning.

Teacher

Mathematics, probability, and statistics tutor; sports coach. Engaging further learning and unlocking performance.

My education and skills

Master of Engineering with AI Concentration - Electrical and Computer Engineering (2024)
Honours Bachelor of Science - Mathematics and Statistics (2023)

My main interests are in AI, computer vision and NLP, particularly in legal and healthcare fields. I and am quite excited to contribute to this rapidly growing industry. Health and legal data presents so many unique challenges, and the possibilities of how AI can enhance patient care and client needs seem limitless.

I have extensive experience designing, training, and validating machine learning models. I'm a confident programmer with R and Python. Notably, I am very comfortable with PyTorch, Caret, Tensorflow, Keras, and Cuda. Good machine learning scientists understand the data they are working with, so I've also been sure to develop my skills as a data scientist, and have experience working with large, messy clinical and legal datasets.

At McMaster, I've taken many courses to lay foundations and build my skills. I've taken courses on data science, mathematical coding, and statistical model validation and construction. I continue to apply the theoretical skills I've learned throughout my degree every day in my many projects. I have recently completed the requirements for my Master's of Engineering at TMU.
